Contest winner now a contender to win a trip for two to the 2013 MasterCard Memorial Cup in Saskatoon
LONDON, ON, NOVEMBER 1, 2012 – BMO, the Official Bank of the CHL, brought BMO Ultimate CHL Fan Appreciation Night to Budweiser Gardens for London Knights Fans. As part of the festivities, BMO held a contest for the Ultimate London Knights Fan where Rob Freeman emerged victorious.
After being selected from the crowd and competing against two other contestants in a round of Knights trivia on the players’ bench, Mr. Freeman was named the BMO Ultimate London Knights Fan, winning a signed Knights team jersey with the BMO Ultimate CHL Fan crest and a $50 pre-paid MasterCard.
As the winner of the BMO Ultimate CHL Fan contest, Mr. Freeman is now entered to win the grand prize: a trip for two to the MasterCard Memorial Cup next year inSaskatoon.

Between October 23 and December 12, 2012, BMO Ultimate Fan Appreciation Night will be held in 40 communities acrossCanadato celebrate the 9.5 million CHL fans. Each event will recognize one BMO Ultimate CHL fan, and one BMO Ultimate Fan in each league in the CHL (Western Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League) will receive the grand prize.
BMO and the Canadian Hockey League
BMO Financial Group and the Canadian Hockey League announced BMO as the Official Bank of the Canadian Hockey League in 2011. The four-year agreement also designates BMO as the Official Bank of each of the CHL’s member hockey leagues: the Ontario Hockey League, the Western Hockey League, and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
The sponsorship builds on BMO’s partnership with the CHL of more than 10 years and affirms BMO’s exclusivity as a financial services sponsor of the league in the retail banking category.
