RUPERT SUSPENDED 3 GAMES

LONDON, ONTARIO: The Ontario Hockey League announced today that forward Ryan Rupert will be suspended for 3 games for verbal abuse of an official.  The incident took place at the end of the game against the Windsor Spitfires on Friday, January 18, 2013.  Rupert will be eligible for return Friday, February 1, 2013 when the Brampton Battalion visit Budweiser Gardens.

Also receiving suspension from the Spitfire game is forward Alex Broadhurst.  Broadhurst is suspended for the first of 3 games on the Eastern road trip this coming weekend for his slew-footing incident.  He will miss Thursday night’s game in Ottawa but will be eligible to return Saturday, January 26, 2013 in Belleville.
